HUAF: Job Fair 2024
On May 12, a Job Fair 2024 was organized by the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF) with the theme of Giving Opportunities - Creating the Future.
Attending the event there were representatives of leaders and recruitment units from 30 corporations, companies, and entrepreneurs inside and outside Thua Thien Hue province along with the students of HUAF.
In the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc- Rector of HUAF affirmed that collaborating with entrepreneurs aimed to improve the training quality especially enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of students that meet the needs of labor markets.
The Job Fair program 2024 attracted the recruitment participation with more than 30 entrepreneurs, including 15 entrepreneurs participating in direct recruitment at booths and many employers who have coordinated by the online application submission. The organizers have created 19 booths for entrepreneurs, arranged a lot of the meeting rooms and lecture halls to support employers in the direct interviews for more than 1,590 recruitment targets in all training fields of HUAF.
This is the 11th continous year that HUAF has organized the Job Fair with the goal of creating opportunities for students to find jobs suitable for their trained occupations, and for companies and entrepreneurs to look for the appropriate human resources that are consistent with its development strategy. In addition, HUAF receives comments, suggestions and criticisms from employers about the quality of human resources that HUAF can adjust the contents of the training programs, improve and enhance the quality of HUAF students in terms of knowledge, skills and attitudes to meet the needs of the labor markets.
