Welcoming the delegation of Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan

On April 27, 2023, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF) welcomed the delegation of Saijo city, Ehime prefecture, Japan. The delegation was led by Mr. Tamai Toshihisa – Mayor of Saijo City.
Attending the meeting, the representatives of HUAF were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Duc – Rector, Dr. Pham Huu Ty – Head of the Department of Science-International Cooperation and Library, and Dr. Nguyen Van Hue – Deputy Head of the Department of Science-International Cooperation and Library. Members of the Saijo City Leadership Delegation include Mr. Tamai Toshihisa - the Mayor, Mr. Tsuboi Tsuyoshi - the Chairman of the City Council, Mr. Yasuda Ken - the Head of City Economic Department and many other officials.

At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the memorable milestones in the 18 years of cooperative relationship development, as well as expressed the wish to maintain and tighten the friendship between the two sides in the coming time. After the meeting with HUAF, the Saijo City Leadership delegation will participate in activities in the traditional Craft Festival event organized by Thua Thien Hue province.
