HUAF Promotes Collaboration in Circular Agriculture and Green Energy Development

With the aim of promoting collaboration in research, technology transfer, and the development of sustainable agricultural models, on July 27, 2026, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF), welcomed representatives of CAS Control and Automation Solutions Co., Ltd. (CAS) for a working session. Prior to the meeting, the two sides conducted a field survey in Huong Tra Ward and at the Huong Van Practice Center to assess the potential for developing circular agriculture models integrated with renewable energy applications.

Training Course on “Poultry Feed Formulation”: Enhancing Practical Skills and Optimizing Livestock Production Efficiency

On May 18–19, 2026, the Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF), in collaboration with the U.S. Grains Council, successfully organized a training course entitled “Poultry Feed Formulation.” The event brought together lecturers, industry experts, and nearly 40 students from the Faculty.

On May 14, 2026, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF), organized a seminar entitled “Mụ Nú Tea Plant: Current Practices and Future Prospects.” The event served as an academic forum for exchanging knowledge and practical experience in the research, conservation, and development of indigenous plant species with significant economic and ecological value.

Transfer of Technology: Producing Organic Fertilizer from Straw Utilizing the Circular Agricultural Approach

Through collaboration with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), the technical team at HUAF has successfully transferred expertise and equipment, resulting in the production of organic fertilizer derived from straw using the Circular Agricultural Method. This innovative approach has been implemented at the An Lo Agricultural Production Cooperative in Phong Hien commune, Phong Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province.
