The delegation of HUAF joined the International Conference on education and research in the field of global environmental studies

From December 3 to 4, 2024, the delegation of Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF) including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc – Rector and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An (Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine) took part in the International Conference of Kyoto University, Japan organized at the Royal University of Agriculture of Cambodia. This is Kyoto University's annual international conference on education and research in the field of global environmental studies for universities in the network in Asia. This conference was held with the topic "Measures and Perspectives of Human Resources Development through International Environmental Co-operation". The conference was organized offline and online with the participation of nearly 400 scientists from 50 universities and research institutes.

Within the framework of the conference, HUAF and Kyoto University have had about 20 years of collaboration with many outstanding results in training, implementing the co-operative research projects, as well as exchanging of students and lecturers between two universities. Through this international conference, HUAF had exchanged and shared experiences in order to continuously strengthen co-operation with Kyoto University and universities and research institutes within the network. It was known that HUAF was the host of the conference in 2023.
