The goal of the workshop is to enhance cooperation in training and scientific research between Mahasarakham University, Thailand, and the Faculty of Agriculture, HUAF. The workshop will focus on key research topics: (1) Sustainable farming systems; (2) Livestock feed production from agricultural by-products; (3) Biological activity of plant essential oils; (4) Application of biotechnology in crop protection.
In his welcoming speech at the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc expressed his honor in hosting the delegation from Mahasarakham University, Thailand. He emphasized the significance of strengthening international cooperation in the context of education and research facing many global challenges. The workshop serves as an opportunity for both sides to exchange academic ideas, share experiences, and build a foundation for sustainable collaborative activities in the future. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc affirmed that HUAF is always ready to expand cooperation towards innovative education and sustainable development.

During the workshop, Assist. Prof. Dr. Phirayot Khaengkhan expressed gratitude for the warm welcome from HUAF. At the workshop, speakers focused on presenting and discussing urgent issues such as sustainable agricultural development and the application of science and technology in agricultural production. Additionally, the workshop served as a forum to assess regional trends and challenges, including: sustainable agriculture in the context of climate change, research on crops adapted to harsh conditions, and ensuring food security. From in-depth analyses and discussions, the speakers proposed feasible solutions that would not only contribute to the development of sustainable agriculture but also promote international integration in education and research, helping countries in the region effectively respond to climate change, ensure food security, and develop rural areas.
