At the meeting, there were Mr. Felix Wagenfeld – Chief Representative of DAAD Hanoi Office; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang Khanh Linh – DAAD Ambassador in Hue, Director of School of International Studies – Hue University. The representatives of the leaders of HUAF consisted of Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phung – Vice Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Huu Ty – Head of the Department of Science, International Cooperation and Library and Information, along with lecturers who have studied in Germany.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Huu Ty welcomed Mr. Felix Wagenfeld – Chief Representative of DAAD Hanoi Office, and introduced an overview of the foundation and development of HUAF and many extensive international cooperation programs with many universities and organizations around the world. In particular, through DAAD, many lecturers have studied in Germany, contributing to improving the quality of HUAF’s staff. After that, Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phung – Vice Rector expressed his pleasure to welcome Mr. Felix Wagenfeld – Chief Representative of DAAD Hanoi Office to visit and work with HUAF. He hoped that two sides would have more cooperative activities in training and scientific research activities as well as exchanging of lecturers and students.
On this occasion, Mr. Felix Wagenfeld – Chief Representative of DAAD Hanoi Office briefly introduced DAAD scholarships. He also said that DAAD scholarship is a scholarship for all students from undergraduate to postgraduate and doctoral students. The scholarship program offers study and research opportunities in Germany at different levels including the Master and PhD levels. This is a great opportunity to develop international relations and specializations for undergraduates and graduates.
The two sides also discussed the potential for cooperation in training and recruitment programs, aiming at building a deep relationship and sustainable development in the future.
