The opening ceremony of the first issue of Agricultural Science and Technology Journal
On August 9th, 2017, the opening ceremony of the first issue of Agricultural Science and Technology Journal was held at Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF).
Attending the ceremony were Dr. Tran Xuan Mau - Secretary of the Journal of Hue University, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Le Van An - Rector of HUAF - Chairman of the Editorial Board , Dr. Le Thanh Bon - Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Thang Long - Vice Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong - Vice Rector, Editor in Chief, along with the staffs in the editorial board.
After a period of application for a license from the Ministry of Information and Communication, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry was granted the license to establish and publish a journal of Agricultural Science and Technology.
HUAF had had both benefits and difficulties since a journal of Agricultural Science and Technology was founded. Due to the contributions of scientists and editors, the first issue of the journal was successfully published .
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof.Dr Le Van An said: "The Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology is the soul of the university, affirming the position of science and technology of the university in society. This is the place where receive information from scientists in the university or in nationwide, can help them communicate information to other scientists. Furthermore, the journal is also a place to confirm the quality, position of science of the university in society”. Assoc. Prof.Dr Le Van An also expressed his deep thanks the contributions to writers, critics and members of the editorial board for the first successful issue of the journal.
During the premiere, the editorial board also received many comments from staffs, experienced scientists in this field contributing to perfecting the next issue of the journal. In addition, the online journal page (http://tapchi.huaf.edu.vn) was launched to readers in the ceremony so that they could find and follow easily.
