On July 19th, 2016, at Okayama University (Japan), Assoc.Prof. Dr. Le Van An, the Rector of University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF) was appointed as the honorary professor by Professor Kiyoshi Morita, Director of Okayama University. Assoc.Prof. Dr. Le Van An received the honorary professorship based on his experience as the contributor and supporter in the activities of international cooperation of Okayama University.

Its aims were to announce the establishment of HUAF Council under the Decision No. 460 / QD-Hue University on January 21, 2016 04 by the Director of Hue University and to appoint Dr. Dinh Vuong Hung as Chairman of the Council under the Decision No. 480 / QD-Hue University on 25 May 04, 2016.
