International gala dinner
On the evening of the 3rd of August, 2016, the program on “International Gala Dinner” for international staffs and students from some various universities including: University of Rajamangala Technology Tawan-ok (Thailand), Keio University, Kobe University, RyuKyus University, Forestry and Forest products and Research Institute, Japan, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and Centre for Agriculture development in Victoria, Australia, happened at Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry. The gala dinner made dramatically impressed on all the participants that night.
Other participants consisted of Assoc.Prof. Dr. Le Van An who is the rector of Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, along with Assoc.Prof. Dr. Phung Thang Long - Vice Rector and leaders of the Faculties and functional departments.
At the gala dinner, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An delivered the speech that HUAF received a lot of international students who have studied and done research within the framework of the exchange and collaborative programs such as: student exchanges, exchange of scientific research, development cooperation projects, especially in HUAF. Furthermore, students participated in the exchange and cooperation with universities and institutes from different countries such as Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and some various countries in the world including Japan. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An also desired that HUAF would continue to expand partnerships to organize exchange programs, and academic exchange with other international universities. In addition, he said that this was a good opportunity for international students who were young, dynamic, and studying at the University of Agriculture and Forestry under the direct guidance of experienced professors. The international students enjoyed the cultural exchanges with other students of Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry. Finally, he hoped that the university would keep expanding cooperation and receiving more international students through exchange programs to create an international education environment in cooperation and development.
