Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Nam paid a working visit to the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Duc - Rector of the University expressed his pleasure to welcome the mission of MARD to visit and work with HUAF. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Duc wished that the leaders of the Ministry and Thua Thien Hue province had been interested in and helped HUAF, creating a connection between the University and other units, giving more tasks to the University in order to continue developing the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
  Next, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue provincial People's Committee said that Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry was a good cradle for training in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, making great contributions to scientific and technological products for central provinces, highlands and the whole country. However, the cooperation between the University and the Province was not well-organized. Thus, two sides need to be more flexible, accompanying enterprises to boost up scientific and technological products .

Also at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tran Thanh Nam agreed with some recommendations of HUAF. The Deputy Minister said that HUAF should be more active in participating, developing, training to expand agricultural cooperatives is very necessary.
 
Afterthat, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University signed two cooperative agreements with the Office of the Central New Rural Coordination and the Cooperation of Digital Agriculture for the purpose of coordination in professional activities, research, application, transfer of science, technology and training under the strategic direction of "Building a new countryside" for the period of 2021-2025.
