Conference on the Scientific Research for Students in 2023
On May 14, 2023, the Conference on the Scientific Research for Students in 2023 was held at HUAF in order to promote the scientific research activities, enhance the ability of self-research among students and boost up the quality of educational training of HUAF.
Participants in the Conference included Dr. Do Thi Xuan Dung - Vice President of Hue University; Representatives of leaders from member universities of Hue University: University of Foreign Languages, School of Engineering and Technology, University of Pedagogy, University of Medicines and Pharmacy, University of Tourism and Center of Start-up and Innovation.
To the side of HUAF, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Duc – Rector, Prof.Dr. Le Dinh Phung – Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huu Van – Vice Rector; Representatives of leaders of faculties and functional departments; lecturers and more than 350 students who have participated in the scientific research activities in the academic year of 2022-2023.
HUAF is always interested in scientific research and technology transfer of agro-forestry-fisheries, mechanical engineering, environmental resources, rural development and other related fields. In the past few years and in the following years, HUAF has promoted in the scientific research activities towards the international co-operation, developing the strong research teams, increasing prestigious international publications in WoS and Scopus. In addition, HUAF pays attention to scientific research in collaboration with training and serving for the community, enhancing the quality of educational training, start-up and innovation activities for students as well as learners of HUAF.
From 46 scientific research topics have been carried out since 2022, independent and objective evaluations were reviewed by reviewers who are specialists and experienced in scientific research. 13 scientific research topics were selected in the Conference to enter the final round, of which 03 topics of students and a topic of master were presented in the Conference. Moreover, 03 presentations were ordered and introduced by the University of Medicines and Pharmacy and the University of Pedagogy. The Conference also received a number of comments from students and scientists for the development of scientific research activities of students in HUAF in generally.
On this occasion, some teams of students and mentors who have achieved outstanding results in various levels in the academic year of 2022-2023 were commended and rewarded by HUAF.
