Signing agreement with DARD, Dong Nai province
On March 15, 2022, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University attended the signing ceremony with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Nai province on cooperation in scientific research, technology transfer, and training of human resources to promote agricultural production development of Dong Nai province.
Attending the ceremony were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Duc - Rector of the school and representatives of leaders of faculties and functional departments. On the partner side, there were Mr. Tran Lam Sinh - Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and representatives of leaders of departments and units under the Department.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Lam Sinh recognized the potentials of cooperation between the two sides; especially encouraging and maximally supporting HUAF in researching and transferring scientific research and technological development results to organizations and individuals of all economic sectors in Dong Nai province. With the goal of sustainable agricultural and rural development, Dong Nai wishes to cooperate and invest in a number of fields, such as application of biotechnology; hi-tech agriculture, organic agriculture; post-harvest processing and preservation technology; conservation of biological heritage; environmental protection; animal husbandry, plant and animal disease prevention and control; building production organization models associated with agricultural, forestry and fishery consumption markets, etc.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc expressed his wish that HUAF would cooperate in the fields of training, scientific research and technology transfer in agriculture, forestry, fishery and rural development with Dong Nai province. Assoc. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc also thanked the attention of the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development for HUAF and hoped that after the Cooperation Ceremony, many cooperation activities would be effectively implemented between the two sides.
After the signing, the two sides agreed to assign the focal units to expeditiously concretize the signing contents with specific period and annual plans, ensuring close to reality to exploit the potential advantages of each side.
