Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony with Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry
On September 1, 2021, the Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony between the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF), and Bac Giang University of Agriculture and Forestry (BAFU) was solemnly held online.
Attending the signing ceremony for HUAF, there were: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Duc – Rector; Prof. Dr. Tran Dang Hoa – Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phung – Vice Rector; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huu Van – Dean of Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Van Toan - Dean of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology, and representatives of functional departments.
HUAF delegates
On the side of BAFU, there were: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Ha – Rector; Dr. Mai Thi Huyen – Vice Rector and lecturers, and representatives of functional departments.
At the ceremony, the two universities briefly introduced the history of the establishment, information about teaching staff, size of training students, organizational structure, training program, enrollment situation, scientific research - technology, and outstanding strengths of each university.
BAFU delegates
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Duc also expressed his deep gratitude and respect to BAFU for trusting and cooperating with the university, so that the two universities can have a sustainable and long-term relationship in the coming time.
Through the process of exchange and discussion, the two universities have come to an agreement on operating principles and cooperation contents, focusing on promoting the potential and strengths of each university, so that they can complement each other for mutual development.
The first implementation content is the postgraduate training program, the Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine will conduct a master's degree in veterinary medicine at BAFU, followed by the strengths of the University such as: Food Technology, Plant protection… This is a stepping stone, creating a premise for the implementation of the next content in the cooperation program.
In addition, the two cooperative universities will promote, approach, exchange and deploy training programs, foster human resource training, and cooperate through research and science-technology projects. After that, the leaders of the two universities conducted the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding under the witness of all participants.
The cooperation signing ceremony ended successfully, in order to cement the cooperation relationship between HUAF and BAFU. The two universities will continue to develop specific action plans, deploy cooperation contents through functional departments and faculties as focal points for implementation, continue to maintain a long-term cooperative relationship in the future.
