Framework agreement signing ceremony between HUAF and CIRAD
On May 23, 2023, the University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF) solemnly held the Signing Ceremony of the Framework Agreement for scientific cooperation between HUAF and the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD).
Participating in the signing ceremony, on the HUAF side, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Thanh Duc – Principal of the school, Prof. Dr. Tran Dang Hoa – Chairman of the School Council, Prof.Dr. Le Dinh Phung – Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huu Van – Vice President, Dr. Pham Huu Ty - Head of Department of Science, International Cooperation & Library and leader of the Center for Rural Development in Central Vietnam. On the side of CIRAD, represented by Dr. Francos Louis Marcel Roger – Southeast Asia Director and Ms. Tran Thi Chau – Officer of CIRAD in Hanoi.
The Framework agreement between HUAF and CIRAD aims to build a sustainable partnership in the future, serving the mutual benefits of scientific research, training and development activities for students and researchers, sharing scientific and technical information, etc.
At the Signing Ceremony, the two sides introduced organizational structure, activities, and development potential and expressed their belief that the cooperative relationship between the two sides will have good and sustainable development steps in the future.
