Graduation and Degree Conferment Ceremony (Phase 1 – 2026)

On January 23, 2026, the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF) solemnly held the Graduation and Degree Conferment Ceremony for Doctoral, Master’s, and Undergraduate graduates – Phase 1, 2026. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic and research journey of 03 doctoral candidates, 23 master’s graduates, 458 full-time undergraduate students, and 08 bridging/second-degree students.
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Hue University’s leadership, were Dr. Bui Van Loi – Acting Vice President of Hue University; and Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha – Deputy Head of the Department of Academic Affairs and Student Services.
Representing HUAF were Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phung – Secretary of the Party Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc – Rector; along with leaders of affiliated units, doctoral supervisors, members of the organizing and support teams, and all graduating doctoral candidates, master’s students, and undergraduates of Phase 1, 2026.

Overview of the Ceremony
 
In his address, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc – Rector of the University – extended his congratulations to the newly conferred Doctors, Masters, Engineers, and Doctors of Veterinary Medicine on the occasion of their graduation in Phase 1, 2026. He emphasized: “The University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, consistently focuses on developing and innovating its academic programs to meet the increasingly high demands of society. The University has created an optimal learning environment with adequate facilities, modern equipment, comprehensive learning resources, and a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated lecturers committed to teaching and research supervision.”

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc acknowledged the perseverance and efforts of the graduates throughout their academic journey, highlighting that the knowledge they have accumulated serves as a valuable foundation. He encouraged them to continue refining their expertise, effectively apply their knowledge in practice, affirm their professional competence, and contribute meaningfully to the agricultural sector and society at large.

He further expressed his hope that graduates would uphold the proud traditions of HUAF students—discipline, diligence, loyalty, responsibility, and readiness to undertake assignments. The Rector also conveyed his expectation that the new graduates would become pioneering forces in production, research, and technology transfer, contributing to the development of agriculture and rural areas, as well as to the country’s industrialization and modernization.
The ceremony not only marked an important milestone in the academic and research journey of the new Doctors, Bachelors, Engineers, and Doctors of Veterinary Medicine, but also reaffirmed the role, prestige, and training quality of HUAF in providing high-quality human resources for the development of agriculture and related sectors.
