The first meeting of HUAF Council
On June 22nd 2016, the first meeting of HUAF Council in the term of 2014-2019 was held in HUAF’s meeting hall. Its aims were to announce the establishment of HUAF Council under the Decision No. 460 / QD-Hue University on January 21, 2016 04 by the Director of Hue University and to appoint Dr. Dinh Vuong Hung as Chairman of the Council under the Decision No. 480 / QD-Hue University on 25 May 04, 2016.
The participants in the meeting consisted of Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Van Toan, Director of Hue University, along with 15 members of HUAF Council.
The Council is divided into 4 vital organs including Rector board, some agencies, representatives of Hue University and representatives who are lecturers of HUAF.
The mission of the Council is to explain the authorities directly to manage the university and state them on conditions for ensuring the educational quality and the results of operations, performance and financial commitments of the university and so on.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr Nguyen Van Toan congratulated HUAF on the successful establishment of the Council. He hoped that all members in the Council express their good abilities in developing HUAF firmly in the integrated period.
After that, Dr. Dinh Vuong Hung, who was appointed as the Chairman of the Council, showed his deep honor because he will be in charge of the crucial position. He promised that he would try his best to give great strategies in developing HUAF in future.
Thereafter, the Council elected the secretary of the council by TS. Tran Thanh Duc, who is the Deputy Head of Training University and assigned tasks to members of HUAF Council in the tenure of 2014-2019.
The meeting ended at 5pm.
