This program has been within the framework of bilateral cooperation of two universities in academic, scientific research and cultural exchanges since 2006.

On September 8th, 2017, at Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, Kyoto University, Japan organized a seminar on a study on "the land use and livelihood resilience in the face of growing dependence on mon-cropping of industrial tree plantations- a case in central Vietnam" and a study on “Bio-indicators in folklore”. This is a frequent activity in the framework of development collaboration between Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF) and Kyoto University, Japan. The seminar attracted lecturers from the Faculty of Forestry and the Faculty of Land management and Agricultural environment of HUAF.

From 11-17th of August, 2016, the students exchange program between Kyoto University Japan, and Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF), was taken place in HUAF. This is a program within the framework of collaboration between two universities. In addition, HUAF is the link between Kyoto University Japan, and Quoc Hoc High school Vietnam, through the student exchange program. The students would have a chance in a meeting to discuss together about this program.
HUAF tries its best to become as the prestigious university. Additionally, HUAF always makes great efforts in training to provide localities and enterprises with qualified human resources. It is highly appreciated as a good center in science and technology to contribute the development of socio- economics to the whole country in integration tendency.
