On May 11th, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry had a meeting with Department of Environmental Planning, University of Brandenburg, Germany.

Attending the meeting were: Mr. Nguyen Hong Giang -representative of Hue University and Mr. Ha Trong Hai - Officer of Urban Management Department, Hue People's Committee.

The purpose of the session was to understand the policy and to clarify the structural  and technical requirements of German technology solutions to meet the local conditions of Hue City in the construction of floating works.

At the meeting, two sides had the opportunity to introduce, share information with the desire of long-term cooperation in the coming time.

Dr. Harry Storch expressed his gratitude to the university's leaders for welcoming and having the opportunity to work together. He also shared useful information on the structure and engineering of floating structures in Germany as well as activities that he and his colleagues had deployed in Vietnam in the past time.

Leaders and participants in the meeting expressed their interests, and  asked many questions about the structure, planning and application of floating structures for Hue.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides made plans to hold a seminar on this issue in June in Hue.
