The aim of the meeting was to discuss and agree between two parties on taking HUAF students to practice and work in Denmark.
At the meeting, leaders of HUAF asked a lot of questions such as the application conditions, training fields, internships, salary, hours of practice and work, insurance, housing for students...
At the meeting, Mr. Peder expressed his gratitude to the university's leaders for welcoming and having the opportunity to share information with each other. Furthermore, Mr. Peder introduced information on the selection process, working places on farms, the duration of study and work in Denmark for students. "Through cooperation and exchange, Danish farmers will be delighted to welcome students who are trained in the fields of HUAF to study and work in Danish agricultural farms, "said Peder.
On April 25, 2017, Mr. Peder visited farms at Huong Van Camp and Huong Tra Camp (Thua Thien Hue Province) to learn about the models of raising and planting. Then, he would compare the similarities and differences between the farms of the two sides. Moreover, he caught up with the situation to guide students when working in Denmark better in the future.
At the same day, leaders of HUAF and Mr. Peder carried on signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Landbrugets Jobservice ApS (Denmark) on terms such as Landbrugets Jobservice ApS provides information and requests from farms, recruitment documents, visa applications and some necessary procedures while students are living and working in Denmark. In addition, HUAF will be responsible for introducing information and selecting students to participate in this cooperation program. Especially, students who are studying in the fields of Agronomy, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine, Crop Science will be the priority candidates in the program.
After signing, two sides will develop the necessary procedures so that students of HUAF have the opportunity to practice and work in Denmark as soon as possible.
