On September 13th, Professor Makino Hirofumi- President of Okayama University along with 02 staff of the University paid a working visit to University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF). Receiving the delegation, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van An - Rector of HUAF, the leaders in the Rectorate Board, leaders of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Facultyt, Department of Science and Technology - International Cooperation, and some teachers who have been studying or graduated from Okayama University, Japan.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van An expressed his pleasure that the delegation of Okayama University, Japan visited and worked with HUAF. He said that Okayama University, Japan has started to establish a cooperative relationship with HUAF in particular and Hue University in general since 2006. Up to now, HUAF has had 22 lecturers from all faculties pursuing master's and doctoral programs at Okayama University, Japan.
Next, the leaders of both sides shared information on the cooperation exchange program as well as discussed the direction of scientific research cooperation in the coming time. Through this cooperation program, this will be a good opportunity for two universities to continue developing the cooperative graduate program on "Sustainability and environmental of rural systems".
It is known that HUAF currently has 8 lecturers studying PhD and master's programs at Okayama University, Japan. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huu Van – Vice Dean of Faculty of Animal Sciences and Veterinary Medicine, is the coordinator of Okayama program in Hue.
