Meeting with Chubu University, Japan

At the meeting, leaders of two universities introduced about the cooperation programs in training as well as in research with countries in the world, especially in Japan. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An- Rector of HUAF said that HUAF has cooperated with Okayama University, Japan in the fields of agriculture and global environmental management. In addition, many faculty members have had the opportunities to study at some prestigious universities in Japan (such as Okayama University, Kyoto University, Obihiro University, etc.). Moreover, HUAF regularly promotes international staff and student exchanges between HUAF and Japanese partners. Furthermore, students of HUAF had been taken to practice and work in Japan, giving them the opportunities to develop their knowledge and skills in the international working environment. This has created a good signal between Vietnam and Japan in generally, between HUAF and Japanese universities in particularly.

Through the meeting, leaders of two universities wished to continue discussing in details towards signing the memorandum of cooperation between two universities in related fields (for instances: technology, biotechnology, and so on ...).

After that, the professors of Chubu University, Japan briefly presented the topic "Intellectual Property". This was the orientation of cooperation between the two sides to connect the faculty members of two universities so that they could have the opportunity to learn information and share experiences in science and technology.
