The 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Land Resources and Agricultural Environment (2005–2025)

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests from ministries, local authorities, and partner organizations. Notably, Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Chuong, Director General of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training, and former Dean of the Faculty, delivered a congratulatory speech. Representatives from the Southern Natural Resources and Environment Company, Hue City People’s Committee, Hue Department of Agriculture and Environment, and various enterprises and alumni networks from Hue, Quang Tri, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, and other provinces were also present.

From HUAF, the event welcomed Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc, Rector; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Ngu, Dean of the Faculty, along with representatives of departments, faculties, institutes, centers, and the Faculty’s lecturers and staff. Former university leaders, including many who previously held key leadership positions, also attended, adding a warm and respectful atmosphere to the celebration.

In his keynote speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Ngu highlighted the Faculty’s achievements in education, scientific research, and international cooperation, and expressed deep appreciation to previous generations. Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc praised the Faculty’s outstanding contributions over the past 20 years and expressed confidence in its continued success and important role in training high-quality human resources in the field of land resources and agricultural environment.

During the event, the Faculty and its departments received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, recognizing their collective and individual accomplishments. Scholarships were also awarded to excellent and disadvantaged students.
 
The ceremony concluded in a warm and emotional atmosphere, with participants sharing pride and gratitude for the Faculty’s achievements. This milestone marks a new chapter for the Faculty of Land Resources and Agricultural Environment, reinforcing its commitment to innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development in education, research, and community engagement.
