International Exchange Program with PhD. students from Jawaharlal Nehru University Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya, Jabalpur, (M.P.), India
From November 1 - 21, 2023, HUAF organized an exchange program with PhD students from Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya University, Jabalpur, (M.P.), India.
The opening ceremony of the program took place on November 1, 2023, chaired by Dr. Pham Huu Ty, Head of Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation with the participation of lecturers participating in the program.
During the exchange, Indian graduate students had the opportunity to study about topics related to smart technology for modern agriculture including: experimental and statistical methods; plant genetics and breeding; mushroom production techniques; Cell physiological research on salt tolerance in poaceae plants; in-vitro propagation; biofertilizer production; agricultural value chain analysis; crop classification and monitoring, drought monitoring; Evaluate land suitability using gis and multi-criteria; application of drones in agriculture; soil erosion model.
In addition, the graduate students participated in cultural exchanges with HUAF staff and students, visited agricultural models in Vietnam, and experienced Vietnamese culture.
At the closing ceremony of the program. GS. Le Dinh Phung - HUAF Vice Principal - awarded certificates to students and lecturers participating in the program.
