The 36th anniversary ceremony of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20th, 1982- November 20th, 2018)
On November 20th, 2018, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF) held the 36th anniversary ceremony on Vietnamese Teachers' Day at the Multi-functional Hall.
Attending the ceremony, on the side of Hue University, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh – President of Hue University;
On the side of partners and entrepreneurs, there were representatives from some enterprises in Hue.
On the side of HUAF, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An – the Rector of HUAF; leaders in the Rectorate board; and all staff of HUAF.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An- Rector of HUAF delivered a speech in the ceremony
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An shared that: Looking back the development of HUAF during over 51 years, it has made great efforts in some fields. Typically, many scientific researches of HUAF have been come into productive applications. It can be said that HUAF has made a significant contribution to provide highly qualified human resources in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, rural development, food technology, natural resources and environment for Central, Highlands regions and the whole country.
Currently, HUAF has 424 staff and employees with high qualifications. Furthermore, some international programs such as the PhD training programs have been teaching in English. So far, it has trained 650 master students and more than 7,000 junior and university students.
Additionally, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van An emphasized that HUAF has cooperated with companies and enterprises to develop training programs such as students have had opportunities to take part in various intership programs in Vietnam, Japan, Israel, Thailand, and Denmark.

At the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Linh - President of Hue University, who has already worked at HUAF, highly appreciated and sent his congratulations on the success of HUAF during over 50 years of its establishment and development. He hoped that in the upcoming time, HUAF has more innovation and success, continuing to affirm the leading position of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in Central and Highland regions.
Student Tran Minh Tinh- A representative of all students in HUAF gave a speech in the ceremony
Student Tran Minh Tinh- A representative of all students in HUAF expressed his feelings that, as the fourth-year student of HUAF, he was very happy and proud when he has studied here. He also sent his deep gratitude to all lecturers and staff of HUAF who have taught and supported him. He promised that he would try his best to receive good results and contribute his attained knowledge to society in the future.
