Attending the meeting on behalf of the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang was Mr. MORI Takero, Consul General. Representing the Vietnam–Japan Friendship Association in Hue City were Ms. Do Thi My Chau, President of the Association, together with members of the delegation. On behalf of HUAF, the participants included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Van, Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Huu Ty, Head of the Office of Science and Technology, International Cooperation, Library and Information along with faculty members who had previously studied and conducted research in Japan.

He highlighted the University's long-standing partnerships with Japanese institutions and expressed HUAF's desire to further expand collaboration with Japanese universities, enterprises, and organizations in areas such as high-tech agriculture, environmental science, biotechnology, human resource development, and student exchange programs.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. MORI Takero, Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, highly appreciated HUAF's achievements in education and scientific research. He reaffirmed the Consulate General's commitment to supporting and facilitating cooperative initiatives between the University and Japanese partners in the coming years. The two sides also discussed several potential areas of collaboration aimed at promoting academic and cultural exchange, as well as the development of high-quality human resources.
