Many opportunities for students of HUAF to study and work in Japan

On November 21, 2017, professors from Okayama University, Tokyo University, Waseda University, KOIBUCHI College paid a working visit to Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF).

Attendants of HUAF were: Dr. Pham Huu Ty - Head of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, along with leaders of the Faculty of Land Resources and Agricultural Environment and the leader of Student Affairs Department.

At the meeting

At the meeting, the Japanese professors desired leaders of HUAF to share some information on taking students to study and work in Japan through some exchange programs between HUAF and some universities, companies, enterprises in Japan in recent years.

MSc. Tran Vo Van May – Head of the Deparment of Student Affairs introduced the cooperation between HUAF and a number of companies that sent students to study and work in Japan such as Hai Phong Company and Nhat Huy Khang Company as well as conditions and procedures of recruitments for students in those programs. It is considered as good opportunities for Japanese professors and HUAF’s leaders to exchange information on employment after students' graduation as well as to exchange researches together.


At the meeting

After finishing the meeting, the Faculty of Land Resources and Agricultural Environment in collaboration with Japanese held the Symposium on "International Labor Migration between Japan and Asia through vocational training in the country”. The conference attracted a large number of students from HUAF.

At the conference, professors presented the results of researches on agricultural labor markets for foreigners in Japan; Migration status of Vietnamese laborers in Japan; Thai way of thinking about technology training in Japan. These contents will help students have an overview of Japan and also provide opportunities for students to prepare their knowledge if they wish to study and work in Japan in the future.
