Freshmen Festival in 2016

On October 2nd, 2016, the Freshmen Festival in 2016 was organized at Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF). Hundreds of students in HUAF were attracted to the Festival.
According to MA. Duong Van Thanh – Head of Youth Union, who hosted the program, this was one of the annual activities jointly held by Youth Union and Student Association. The Freshmen Festival in 2016 had opportunities in cultural exchanges, music performances and communication together during these events happened.
At the opening ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van An- Rector of HUAF said that the Festival was considered as a tradition of students in HUAF. Through these activities, the Freshmen of HUAF would not only be well - equipped with knowledge but also with the capacities and attitudes towards learning. He also highly appreciated the program organized by Youth Union aiming at appealing to most students in HUAF for their participation.
The activities in the festival included awarding scholarships for the best students who got the highest marks in each faculty sponsored by entrepreneurs and other operations such as traditional games, Books Exhibition and music performances.
