Workshop on "LED applications in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries"

From May 11 to 12, 2018, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF) held a workshop on "LED applications in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries" and signed a cooperation agreement with Rang Dong Light & Vacuum Flask Company (RALACO).
The workshop aimed at contributing to the industrialization and modernization of agriculture, forestry and fishery; reducing production costs and greenhouse gas emissions, increasing farmers' incomes, protecting the environment. Therefore, HUAF in collaboration with Rang Dong Company organized a workshop on "LED applications in agriculture, forestry and fisheries".
Attending the workshop, to Thua Thien Hue province, there were: Mr. Hoang Cong - Department of Scientific Management (Department of Science and Technology); Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh Binh - Director of Fisheries Department; Mr. Dao Xuan Ky - Director of Agricultural Extension;
To Rang Dong company, there were: Mr. Nguyen Doan Thang - General Director; Ms. Do Thi Hong Lien - Deputy Director; Mr. Le Minh Tuan - Director of Da Nang branch;
The workshop focused on two main topics, including: LED applications in chrysanthemum production; LED applications in aquatic exploitation.
HUAF and Rang Dong Company signed a cooperation agreement on Science, Technology, Information and Training.

Speaking at the workshop, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Le Dinh Phung said that this was a good opportunity for scientists, businesses, managers, farmers and fishermen to share knowledge and results of lighting research in agriculture, forestry and fishery. In addition, they would have great opportunities in discussions and research directions in the coming time. On this occasion, he thanked to Rang Dong Company for providing the necessary resources for the workshop.The workshop focused on two main topics, including: LED applications in chrysanthemum production; LED applications in aquatic exploitation.
