Welcoming the Delegation from the National Institute of Animal Science

On September 5, 2025, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF), had a working session with the National Institute of Animal Science (NIAS) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) to discuss potential directions for cooperation in training and scientific research.
At the meeting, the NIAS delegation included Dr. Pham Cong Thieu – Director General; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Doan Lan – Deputy Director General; along with representatives from various departments. From HUAF, participants included Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Phung – Chairman of the University Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Van – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Huu Ty – Head of the Office of Science, International Cooperation and Library; Dr. Nguyen Van Duc – Head of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Van Dung – Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science; and heads of departments and affiliated centers.

Overview of the working session
In an open and cooperative atmosphere, leaders from both sides presented an overview of their respective functions, missions, strengths, and outstanding achievements in education, research, and technology transfer. Based on these discussions, the two parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in several key areas, including:
- Jointly developing and implementing training programs and capacity-building courses for high-quality human resources in the livestock sector;
- Conducting applied research projects and transferring technologies to practical production;
- Promoting exchange of experts, lecturers, and students;
- Collaborating in organizing academic conferences and workshops in related fields.
