Reception of the delegates of Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand

On September 20th, HUAF had a meeting and working with the delegates of Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand.
Assoc Prof.Dr Phung Thang Long - Vice Rector of HUAF, leaders of faculties, including Faculty of Land Resources and Agricultural Environment, Faculty of Agronomy, Faculty of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, and Faculty of Engineering participated in the meeting.
Opening the meeting, representatives of Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand who come from schools such as School of Biotechnology, School of Food Technology, School of Crop production and School of Animal Production Technology briefly introduced about overall information of Suranaree University of Technology such as the organizational structure, undergraduate and graduate programs, and the scientific research to leaders of HUAF so that they could understand. In particular, many Vietnamese students (including former students of HUAF) received scholarships from Suranaree University of Technology for graduate programs at Saranaree University of Technology, Thailand.
Then, Assoc.Prof.Dr Phung Thang Long- Vice Rector of HUAF gave a brief introduction about cooperative relationships with universities in Thailand to leaders of Suranaree University of Technology. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Thang Long emphasized that HUAF regularly receives students from Thai universities who have come to HUAF to study in the International Student Exchange Program within the framework of cooperation of parties and have brought many considerable achievements. Therefore, this was a good opportunity between Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand and HUAF to share some information and to come to cooperate and develop in the related fields in the future.
During one hour for discussion of two universities, the leaders of two sides wished that they would keep further discussing the professional issues as well as the terms of the memorandum of cooperation. Signing a memorandum of understanding between Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand and Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry is considered as a plan in the coming time. The two leaders hoped that the training and scientific research activities for students and staff would be implemented within the framework of cooperation between the two universities.
