Information exchange with Professor Jean-Michel Baleynaud, University of Toulouse 3, France

On January 2, 2018, the leaders of HUAF had a meeting with Professor Jean-Michel Baleynaud, University of Toulouse 3, France. Attending the meeting were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An - Rector of HUAF; Dr. Pham Huu Ty - Head of Science, Technology and International Cooperation Department and representatives of Faculty of Engineering and Food Technology.
At the meeting, Prof. Jean-Michel Baleynaud presented an overview of the formation and development history of the University of Toulouse 3, French as well as its related training programs with HUAF (such as engineering, technology, energy for habitat environment ...). This is a chance for HUAF leaders to have an overview of University of Toulouse 3, France and to orient the cooperation between two universities in the future.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An welcomed Prof. Jean-Michel Baleynaud to visit HUAF on the occasion of new year 2018. Next, Associate Prof. Dr. Le Van An briefly introduced Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry such as joint training programs with businesses, connection to the labor market. In particularly, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An emphasized that HUAF always improved the curriculum to meet the needs of enterprises and of the society today. Besides, HUAF has had many scientific research works published in the country and in the world.
During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van An hoped that the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of HUAF would be the bridge for cooperation in research and training between HUAF and University of Toulouse 3, France as well as jointly implementing international projects in related fields, supporting modern tools and equipment for research between two institutions, scholarships for staff and students of HUAF to boost-up the cooperation in the future.
