HUAF organized the Agricultural Products Festival 2017

On March 30th, 2017, Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (HUAF) organized the agricultural products festival. This was one of HUAF's several activities to promote the agricultural products and of its partners on the occasion of 50th year anniversary.
The Agricultural Products Festival of HUAF 2017 had attracted twenty units and enterprises with twenty stalls displayed agricultural products by HUAF and enterprises. The festival was the occasion to connect individuals and organizations inside and outside the university cooperating in the research, production, and commercialization of agricultural products under the motto "clean, organic and safe agricultural production" so as to meet the needs for all consumers today.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof.Dr Phung Thang Long- Vice Rector of HUAF said "the festival is an occasion to promote clean and safe agricultural products for consumers”. Furthermore, this was also one of the activities expressing the interest of the university on the production of clean agricultural products, and creating markets for clean agricultural products in Hue and for the central provinces. In addition, the festival created the opportunity to link the university with enterprises in scientific research and technology transfer.

Additionally, at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phung Thang Long expressed his thanks for the participation of enterprises and individuals in the festival on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary ceremony of HUAF (1967-2017).

Through the festival, HUAF wishes individuals, units and enterprises to bring new technologies and innovation into research and production of clean agricultural products, and promote cooperation and development of products towards a sustainable development of agricultural products to develop the rural economy and improve the livelihood of people.
