University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University visited Savannakhet University, Lao PDR

On May 28, 2022, the delegation of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (HUAF) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Duc - Rector, visited and worked at Savannakhet University, Lao PDR.
The delegation had a direct meeting with the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment. At the meeting, the two sides exchanged information on training activities and research directions, paying particular attention to cooperation in training graduate staff and lecturers in the field of animal husbandry and aquaculture for the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment.
The main discussed issues were enrollment sources, entrance standards, training organizations, etc. Accordingly, in the coming time, the two sides will promote soon the construction of an English master's program in animal husbandry in English teaching at Savannakhet University.
The delegation also visited the NAKA FARM ecological chicken farm, located in Kaysone Phomvihane city, Savannakhet province. This is the farm of alumnus Ngan Van Hung (Veterinary Animal Husbandry Course 41) of the school. This farm also welcomed the General Secretary, the President, the Minister of Agriculture, Industry, Trade, and National Defense of Lao PRD; the President, Vice President, and leaders of departments of Savannakhet province visited on January 18, 2022.
